Our Story:
A Vision Realized

Madinatul Uloom Academy (MUA) was established to offer a high-quality education among leading Islamic schools in Scarborough. It was founded with one purpose: to provide a high-quality Islamic education in Toronto that nurtures both academic success and strong Islamic character.

In 1996, inspired by their passion for faith-based education, Br. Wajid and Sr. Nasreen established MUA to serve the growing Muslim community in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Their goal was clear: to create a school where students develop knowledge, confidence, and a deep connection to their faith, preparing them for success in both Dunya and Akhirah.

Today, MUA is also recognized as one of the top Islamic private schools in Ontario, empowering students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 12 with academic excellence and Islamic values.

Building Faith and Future:
 Our Educational Philosophy

At MUA, we believe faith and future blossom together. Our students benefit from a balanced education rooted in Islamic principles and aligned with the Ontario Ministry of Education curriculum.

We offer a gender-segregated learning environment across three campuses in Scarborough, providing age-appropriate, faith-based education for boys and girls. Daily prayer, Quran recitation, Tajweed, Tarbiya, and our specialized Hifz program in Toronto are integrated into student life, nurturing strong moral character alongside academic success.

Our small class sizes and personalized approach ensure students grow into confident, capable individuals, prepared to excel academically while proudly living their Islamic identity.

Our Milestones:
 A Journey of Growth

Over the years, MUA has grown to become a trusted choice for Islamic private education in the GTA, expanding our campuses and programs to better serve our students and families.
