At Madinatul Uloom Academy, student life extends beyond academics. Our extracurricular events and activities allow students to explore their interests, develop leadership skills, build friendships, and contribute to their community — all while having fun!

Key Events and Activities

Student Council

The Student Council empowers students to represent their peers and take on meaningful leadership roles. They plan and organize major school events, including Sister’s Evening, Brother’s Evening, and Multicultural Day. while fostering teamwork, responsibility, and school spirit.

Field Trips

Field trips provide hands-on learning experiences beyond the classroom. Students explore science, history, and culture by visiting places like the Ontario Science Centre, Toronto Zoo, and Royal Ontario Museum, bringing classroom lessons to life.

Multicultural Day

Multicultural Day is a celebration of global diversity. Students come together to showcase vibrant cultural displays. Through food, stories, and meaningful exchanges, we foster unity and respect for different cultures, enhancing our understanding of our diverse world.

MS Read-a-thon

The MS Read-a-thon encourages a love of reading while supporting a great cause. Students participate in a reading challenge, raising awareness for multiple sclerosis with every page they turn, showing the power of reading in making a difference.

Muslim Gallery

The Muslim Gallery is a special event highlighting student projects focused on influential figures in Islamic history. Through their research, students explore the lives and legacies of figures such as Ibn Sina, Ibn Battuta, and many others who have made significant contributions to science, exploration, and philosophy. By delving into these stories, students gain a deeper appreciation for Islam's rich intellectual and cultural heritage.

Earth Week

Earth Week is dedicated to raising environmental awareness, empowering students to be mindful of sustainability. Through workshops, clean-ups, and eco-projects, students actively engage in making a positive impact on the planet.

Sister’s Evening

Organized by the Girls’ Student Council, Sister’s Evening brings together the girls' campus student community for a night of food, activities, and fun. The event strengthens sisterhood, unity, and school spirit in a welcoming environment.

Brother's Evening

A cherished tradition led by the Boys’ Student Council, Brother’s Evening offers students the opportunity to reflect, enjoy good food, and celebrate the year’s achievements together, fostering brotherhood and connection.

Clubs and Societies

Students explore hobbies and interests through various clubs, including painting, cooking, and more. These groups provide a supportive space for creativity, skill development, and personal growth outside the classroom.

Sports Day

A highlight of the school year, Sports Day offers friendly competition and physical activity, promoting teamwork, school spirit, and a healthy lifestyle.

Ramadan Food Drive

During Ramadan, students collect and donate non-perishable items for those in need, promoting empathy, charity, and community service.

Jump Rope for Heart

This event combines fitness with fundraising, as students participate in skipping challenges to raise awareness for heart health while promoting an active lifestyle.

Winter and Summer Day

These seasonal events provide students with fun-filled outdoor activities, from snowy adventures to sunlit excursions, fostering teamwork, school spirit, and enjoyment year-round.
